| Posted: Aug-25-2010 03:39am FOR SALE: I'm selling my ice fishing house that my father built when I was young and I rebuilt 5 yrs ago. It measures about 6'x10.5', very well built and has many years left in it. This house is built heavy duty like most home made bigger houses It isn't terribly heavy but it has quit a bit of toung weight because the wheels are set back further on the house. You will need a 1/2 ton vehicle to move this house around because of this. It will come with a jack and 4-way wrench to put the wheels on and off to set up the house. I used to put this house on Reno and Minnewaska and always had a great time with family and friends. The house ALWAYS stays warm and I never had to take the heater off low or medium heat, even on the coldest days. THE HEATER AND GAS WALL MOUNTED LANTERN WILL BE INCLUDED! I put a 3/4" green treat floor in, 3/8" plywood on the walls, repaired the floor and wall studs, and repainted inside and out. It has 6 holes(3 on each side) with flip open covers, 4 canvas roll-out bunks(2 on each side), 4 rattle reels(1 in each corner), a big window with blind, door with window and tinted insert, fold down table with 2 hand-made boxes for sitting and storing blankets and pillows, lots of shelving for storage, insulation on walls and ceiling, tin covered roof, ventilation on each side, thin metal panel behind heater to keep wall from getting hot, hook on ceiling above table for lantern and a piece of thin panel to deflect heat from the ceiling. It could also be used for a summer bunk house, just put a window ac unit in. We used it many summers at our family lake lot in Alex. Any other q's let me know! I'm asking $650 obo.
